Since 2008, licensed insurance agent Scott McEvoy has provided objective guidance to clients in selecting insurance plans that fit their unique situation, getting the most out of their existing coverage and saving money. Scott has 25+ years experience in leadership with the fortune 1000 companies Sears, Circuit City, Target and Scholastic. Scott has acquired the skills necessary to evaluate risk and assist his clients on how to properly protecting themselves, their loved ones and other family members by using a balance benefit portfolio approach.
Scott enjoys spending time with his family, especially partaking in water sports with his wife, children and grandchildren.

In September 2008, Scott decided to venture into his own business and focus on serving middle-income families and the small and micro business communities. He proudly serves all of Northeast Ohio, including Cleveland, Akron and Youngstown, as well as Pittsburgh and Erie, PA. Scott and his team offer numerous insurance options, including health, Medicare, life, supplement, accident and long term care plans.

Lindsay Wurm - Insurance Subagent
Coming to Scott McEvoy Insurance as an assistant to Scott McEvoy in 2022, Lindsay became acclimated to the business and worked her way up to Subagent specializing in life insurance. In her new position, she takes an active role in sales appointments, establishing relationships with clients, writing policies and performing annual policy reviews.
Lindsay’s favorite part of the job is helping people get the best-fit coverage for the lowest price. She enjoys breaking down complicated policy language into a level anyone can understand.
“I find making sure clients’ needs are met very rewarding,” she says. “Through ongoing continuing education, it’s fascinating to learn about new carriers and policy information that makes a difference in our clients’ lives. On a personal level, the staff here functions like family and we treat our clients like that, too.”
When not in the office, you’ll find this busy mom spending time with her husband, 3-year-old daughter and 9-year-old stepdaughter; reading a good book or maybe getting her nails done.

Recognizing that education is key, Scott offers free Medicare seminars to people approaching their enrollment dates, explaining the process; the timeline and the different types of plans available.
